also that article is for drum brakes , ABV makes oil enclosed disc (rotor) brakes where a rotor takes the torque once the calipers come in contact rather than a drum taking torque forces from brake pads as in drum brakes .
Also The oil distributes the heat in the oil immersed disc brake so doubt heat transfer is an issue requiring the high conductivity of aluminium for rotor(disc) material.
