It is probably not entirely city folks reason clutches burning out , at one time small trucks use to have a granny first gear , which was ideal for backing , but not anymore , although would be worthwhile nowdays pickups seem to have 5 and 6 speed boxes so room for a granny gear in there.
Low range in a 4X4 is an option but many forget to engage it.
The reason I got employed at the geysers was to refurbish the diaphrams that the 50MW and 110 MW Toshiba turbines spin in ,(there were about 20 of them) as the geothermal steam is full of corrosive heavy metals , steam is not a free as people think the maintenance costs on turbines is high.
If ABV pushed in its advertising both the greater efficiency and longer intervals between servicing then maybe they could get some traction, also if the SIBS was a factory option it would mean a lower initial cost I am thinking.
