Yes tonethegroan I can't argue with you on that one the market is awful at the moment. But IMO it's not a big volume fall.
On another topic I was just reading the link to the Biowave article posted by BC. They have received $66.5 million from the Australian Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA). I looked up their criteria for funding renewable energy projects which are:
Priorities for new investment Within ARENA’s investment focus areas. Five priorities have been assessed as areas where ARENA can currently make the most impact. ARENA’s priorities for new investment are:
• integrating renewables and grids
• renewables for industrial processes
• off-grid areas
• fringe-of-grid and network-constrained areas
• large-scale solar photovoltaics.
I would think that Protean Wave Energy would qualify for possibly 4 of the five criteria? I stand to be corrected but I haven't read anything about SHE applying for any of these grants? If not one wonders why not?
