re: Ann: Mariner to increase investment in Ca... in my opinion, probably not. takeovers usually require a premium and the mariner's business model is about buying companies which they perceive as being undervalued and selling them once they believe value has been achieved. Even if mariner decides to not sell their shares, chances are they will receive a dividend some time in the future which will only benefit them. But who knows what will happen!
