My guess is the issue is on the energex side, they presumably need to schedule someone from the network side to inspect the meter before firing it up. If its purely electricians they could hire their own. Sunny coast based sparky job with three years security, they should be lining up. It may be just something we have to get used to. I dont think annoucing publicly that someone on the supply side is the cause will help them resolve the issue as offence may be taken.... all an assumption but thats my gut feeling.
