    Hi Colin

I tend not to post as much as I used to - not feeling as energetic as I once was.

I got going a bit on the BDR thread the other day for obvious reasons. You are right, BDR is for gamblers and my grubstake here is suitable contained.

As for AQG, I am still holding what I bought in hopes all goes to plan. You must have missed my small post there today - see

I am getting the feeling that goldies are being accumulated, especially the better Ozzie goldies which possibly have the protection of a falling AUD. There is a possibility that unless the USD POG falls meaningfully under USD1300 the goldies will not get sold down by much in what we both hoped/expected would be a mid year seasonal decline. I am ready for whatever happens as I increased my goldie level to around 70% of available funds, but also have the capacity to grab something if goldies come back.

I was surprised to see GDXJ/GDX/HUI do well last night despite the gold price being under pressure. I would not want to be naked if the goldies do a bolter. Getting back in at a comfortable level could be challenging. SBM and EVN have run well since I sold them this year in expectation of a significant pullback, after already making a very good run for me.

    GL.
