    Yes I am a waste collector and yes I would ask for SIBS brakes, reason being that I hope my trucks will last for 20 years so the maintenance cost savings will be more than $50,000 as you state.
    Am I thinking along the same lines as yourself BazzleDog or have I missed your point?
