Fumoy - for better context, you need to also compare price point and target market - think you will find GO is competing in a pretty different market to a full antenna type set up.

Iridium Communications Inc Earnings Call on October 30, 2014 / 12:30PM
"Our Iridium GO! product, which is reported as part of our core handset business, continues to see strong results in the early going.
Since launching it in July, we've shipped more than 5,000 units and the backlog remains solid. Feedback from our customers has been excellent. In addition, many of the customers that have signed up thus far for Iridium GO! service have selected the unlimited usage and highest ARPU offering for this new product, which bodes well for our telephony segment. This product allows us to ride the global trend toward smartphones and tablets and the higher data usage they can bring."

"
The early order book has been strong and we see this latest Iridium innovation strengthening our leadership position in the core handset business. With one of the smallest form factors in the industry, it allows our customers to connect with their smartphones, tablets, and other personal devices anywhere in the world, providing access through their trusted devices where no other networks exist, or networks do exist but are too expensive to use.
As we have listened to the initial feedback from our partners, many interesting use cases have emerged. From an enterprise customer with low on workers in remote areas that need emergency
communications to the crew aboard a boat that shares this device with each other to check weather, read emails, and send position reports.
We think it is going to be a hit in the general aviation market, and are also seeing strong interest from the military customers who increasingly want to use their smartphones when deployed.
It’s also the lowest cost device and service offering that we’ve ever made in this category, and, while it will tacitly attract a whole new class of consumers, it should also have broad appeal amongst our established base of industrial and government users."
