I must confess that according to Warren Buffett I should not be investing in NDO, as I don't understand their business. However, since I have invested in this stock it seems logic to start attempting to learn something as after all it is always better to do things later than ever, reason why I am here.
So, could somebody please explain to me: why the process by which shares of corporate stock are effectively merged to form a smaller number of proportionally more valuable shares results in less trading? I know that if you hold a parcel of 49 shares you will be paid cash and forced to go. But how many holders of shares are there with parcels of less than 50 shares? And if such number is great; whow would those shareholders be able to be currently trading unmarketable parcels of shares? Or is that because the current majority of investors are all penny stock traders?
