I didn't think this was their "maiden" JORC resource. I had remembered they were talking about a resource of circa 250k ounces before and I've just found it.

Take a look at the quarterly report from Octo 2010, JORC resource of 241,800 tonnes. So despite all the rhetoric from the prior board and this new one, AUC have spent millions of $'s in the last 2 years stating multi-million ounce etc but have so far only added 161m ounces to the resource.

They have concentrated all their time essentially on Dingo / Jinkas as these were the best prospects. Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my feelings. I know they have other prospects but these will take years and years to explore, then years and years to develop and by then AUC will have raised significant volumes of cash and my shares will be proportionally much less than what they are now.

Even just compare the last 2 years, Sep 2010, SP 45c, market cap $40m. Now. market cap of $23m, despite extending the extent of the discovery.
