Really can't see them starting to drill Dec 12, with mobilization, setup 9 days before Xmas break doesn't make sense to me.
Perhaps get the equipment on site so some setup and hit it after the New Years holiday.
That's what we do in my end of the business, which is pipeline construction. Everybody on my jobsite is gearing up to go home right now.
