With the Aisha project on the same mining lease with advanced exploration I reckon there’s a bloody good chance they will extend the life of mine out to at least 3 years. Not a given but from the company website it seems a strong possibility.
Symbol completed a 3,500m RC drilling programme at the Aisha prospect, located within one kilometre, NNE of the Macy Deposit and within the Imperial Project. The Aisha vein system was identified as a priority target and had been the subject of limited artisanal mining in 2015 targeting high grade massive galena.
Large Mineralisation Footprint Emerging
The initial drilling program undertaken at Aisha was to test outcropping veins and shallow artisanal workings that were present at the site. 39 reverse circulation holes have been drilled for a total of 3,439m. The initial programme has intersected mineralisation over a strike length greater than 800 metres, as shown in Figure 2 below.
Figure 2: Drilling Plan and Collar Locations at the Aisha Project
Mineralisation at Aisha has been intercepted to a depth of 100m vertical metres and still remains open in all directions, providing good potential for extension of the strike of mineralisation. The numerous open spaced voids intersected at depth points to a large, open, well plumbed mineralised system with potential for the mineralisation to coalesce at depth or lead to a larger concordant, strata bound ore body.

The recently completed Aisha RC drill programme has also provided valuable insight into the complexity of the geology and undoubted potential for further mineralisation at Aisha and the greater area in general. Several of the RC holes finished within high grade mineralisation and is possible that future drilling at depth, may find further mineralisation at depth.
Based on encouraging geological logging of the RC cuttings and the drill intersections, a subsequent 1,500m diamond drill infill and extension drilling programme has being formulated. This follow-up programme, along with a 3,000m RC programme for pre-collar holes and north and south extension drilling at Aisha, will also include initial testing of further regional exploration targets. It is expected that drilling should recommence in early May 2018.
Highlights of the Aisha drill intersections
The drilling at the Aisha Prospect has delineated two separate and distinct lines of mineralisation. Mineralisation is contained in multiple structures that run approximately parallel to each other and each is approximately 25m in width. The key drill intersections received to date are shown in Figure 4 and are summarised in Table 2 and 3 below[1].
