I've got respect for your views spec and though I no longer hold any O&G after losing a packet on dls and a few others I am curious as to how you see dls longer term or any of our oil producers given what the Saudis have and continue to do?
I know they put the price up for Asia but the US is where the main game's at. Opec coming apart at the seams from my reading as the Saudi's are cutting into Venezulan margins which they cannot afford and so they will need to increase supply to make up for the price fall. Then there is Russia and its issues already it needs money and is willing to sell more oil.
All of this bodes for huge global oversupply in the short to medium term but what really concerns me is deflation that this will create. The yank manufacturing have been powering along because of cheaper gas supplies due to the shale boom what happens when globally prices really come down with oversupply?

I have exited all my remaining goldies as well as I believe deflation is a real risk which will be exasperated by cheaper oil through oversupply.

I got laid off from a goldie back in 1997 when the gold price went lower I think from memory it was around $400 an ounce. This double whammy if it unfolds and the iron ore and other resources also getting hit is deflationary which flows on to everything else. Please calm my alarm spec
