Do the BOD know exactly what they are doing with a venture into Fiji?

Interisting read in the Fiji Sun of 29/1/2019 severe out break of Leptospirosis in Central Divison.  So far in 2019 there have been 69 human cases reported  and 4 deaths.

Lepto is contracted by contact with the urine from infected animals most of whom  do not show signs of the disease but are carriers.  Access to wet areas and regions with hot and humid climate are a breeding ground for the disease.  In animals it is a major cause of abortion and can affect whole herds of cattle when an outbreak occurs and supress milk production and death.  With dairy farming this has an extreme negative effect as no milk, no money.

Many professionals have tried in Fiji to no avail, mainly due to costs of infrastructure, importation of dairy supplies, sourcing of cattle, and most importantly being able to produce enough milk per head to make it a viable proposition.

IMO  DYOR
