Excellent to have some skin in this game with VMS free carried by LPD [the lepidolite experts] to a possible mine.
LPD are still at advanced pilot stage with their new process, which they call L-Max, for extracting battery grade Li oxide from micas (lepodlite) rather than spodumene. There appear to be advantages including use of non toxic low corrosive reagents, and the expected higher grades of Li in the mica pegmatites.
Some think that this process and these ores may be highly competitive with the current hard rock Li process and the Li scalar sources. This is just my personal take on a minor part of my portfolio. Don't move hard without careful DD.
