German government is about to increase fuel taxes, reduce speeds on the autobahns AND legislate quotas for production of electric vehicles. Its like turning a supertanker - takes a while but is unstoppable. l don't necessarily think putting more tax on petrol and diesel is the right way to go - higher fuel taxes hurts the working and whats left of the middle class but anyway
