The problem with the scientists is they’ll tell you they can get it working in 5 years and when the five years is up it’ll be another 5 years. Then after they’re done they need to industrialise the technology on a grand scale. By then China will be producing EV’s with a range of +600km at the cost of $40k or less. It’s a no brainer.
