considering people think the announcement didn't warrant a trading halt would mean that the announcement is not meaningful. but that's another story. the placement at 20c was at the time not a discount and stock had run from 16 to 20 in a straight line. knowing the resistance at 20 taking funds at that level seemed pretty fair to me. esp when no broker fees involved and 2 solid funds. if you could turn back time would you take a placement at 20c considering the run had? of course now looking at the share price you would but back then was a bit different... lets not get hindsight in the way of some fast tracking funds and 2 good investors.
