The company is not giving in just like that. They are still requesting from LIT "what reagent is fluorine introduced to the process?" They will continue to persevere. All LIT has to do is be open. While they utilise their present tactics, they get more people offside.
LIT has said that they are looking at recycling the hexafluorosilicic acid and putting it back into the process. That brings it back to HF or an additional step of making a fluorine salt which does seem pointless.
