    Prana Biotechnology Ltd (PBT) said that it has entered into a securities purchase agreement for a lead investment by Boston based Life Biosciences LLC to raise up to approximately A$44.5 million (approx. US$31.4 million). Life Biosciences' investment in Prana is an important endorsement of the significance of the company's work in addressing neurodegenerative disease. According to Prana, this financing will potentially allow the company to accelerate its drug development programs
