Just stumbled across this announcement, saw the trading halt this morning and didn't check back.
Tired, so might be missing something, but can't see any mention of existing shareholders having a chance to buy into the CR...the announcement specifically says:
"by way of placement to institutions and sophisticated investors to complete the acquisition and provide additional funding."
Is it simply speculation that existing shareholders will get a chance to increase holdings as part of the CR or have I missed something?
Any thoughts on them stopping the Gold production at Ballarat? Is it currently producing profitably? It seems that if it was operating profitably now it would make sense to have a smaller CR and use proceeds from a small amount of production to make up any other capital required...
I've only had time to skim over the full document, but it looks like a promising little plan.
