My view on the new guys is that they need a business plan.
As it so happens, I have one.
In my view, they should corner the market in black-throated finches, by making offers to home breeders (I understand there are a lot of them in WA). Once they have bought up available supply, they should embark on a captive breeding scheme to substantially increase their numbers and then sell them at a a hugely inflated profit to Adani. To reduce any suffering to the birds during the breeding scheme they could topically apply any available stocks of vitro-gro or if there are none, they could use a placebo (which I understand is just as effective). In this way, a dead parrot may yet fly again. VG (or a placebo) could also be used topically to reduce carbon emissions.
