My call here having observed this one for some time is you'll be waiting a long time. I commented in a previous thread about the issues MGP has with it's tech strategy and relying on an O/S supplier and that putting a veneer over someone else's technology is always fraught with danger. Firstly you need to ask the question why do you need to put lipstick on something unless its seriously ugly (or deficient) under the covers and/or the supplier wont spend the money to do these enhancements themselves as they have determined they have better things to do with their resources. Either way you end up building yourself onto an island - reliant on the old system and at the behest of any changes they make to ensure version compatability. Linear are pretty much in the same boat IMO so you effectively have 2 funadamentally different business models (custodially held bersus directly held) and now a third business which does wholeslae super admin. Again IMO thats a lot to manage and I am skeptical that without 100% ownership of your own tech stack and tech team trying to get synergies and system rationalisation across these would be incredibly challenging.
These issues again IMO also would be a challenge to any possible M&A scenario unless they can swallow the lot and have their own systems to then migrate the clients to. Way to many moving pieces the way it currently is IMO.
