This lawsuit by the other side was thrown out earlier by the Court, and he has re-filed it.
He launched this particular lawsuit because YOW countersued him, for Tortious Interference when he allegedly interfered with YOW business with Madelaines, and defamed YOW execs and appeared on HC in disguise.

Those people lost the business of YOW, and moving it to Madelaines was the best move YOW has ever made. The other mob continually had issues, and now I think they are hurting because they lost the business generated by YOW. Every increase in sales of a Yowie choc is business lost to them. It just seems to me that much of this is being done out of spite.

This other mob are serial litigators. If you look on Google you can find plenty of lawsuits by this mob, and even suing family over business and residences/property.

The clear game here is to attempt to damage YOW, and pressure YOW into settling with a ridiculous amount. They just pick a number out of the air, then try to find an excuse to justify the number.
The dumb part about this mob, is the biggger the claimed damages sought, the easier the decision is to fight them in court, and not to settle.

I hope that YOW drags these buggers all the way through the courts, and does not settle for a ridiculous amount.

Do you think having to fight a court case, no matter the merits, is a good thing for the company?
