Thanks OGP I really appreciate your wisdom that comes with 70 revs and your years of drilling experience. I’m just a mechanical engineer in the building industry and I’m passionate about energy sustainability and all things co2 related but I have to say I’m a climate sceptic and man made global warming is not ligitimate science. It’s pseudoscience. And nowadays it’s something akin to religion and your reputation is at risk to disagree. Anyway gas is booming and LNG is going to be in short supply for a long time and priced handsomely accordingly, until at least 2026 imo. I am happy with my punt on the back that MAC were happy to pay 20c and the situation is now better. And I can’t see a horizontal being a failure. With my limited knowledge I’d have thought reasonable to assume a 1km horizontal is equivalent to 10-20km vertical wells for 50-100m gas zone. I can’t see 26 being a failure on this basis.
Do you have any opinion on the horizontal drilling capabilities of ensign and rig 932?
