RM's salary is paid for by shareholders not the people of the Solomon Islands, the same can be said for SMM and the Chinese millionaires or in some cases billionaires. So the ordinary people cannot expect to receive anything until the mines are operational and jobs are created resulting in revenues and royalty payments to the government which eventually flows on to the man in the street.
