I think this is a fantastic idea as it also puts more pressure on Amazon and CatchOfTheDay and with CatchOfTheDay considering listing on the ASX earlier I'd say this will impact their plans further.

There's some great brands onboard including some premium brands such as Microsoft, Breville, Lego, Fisher-Price, Paw Patrol, SodaStream, Gillette, Gucci and Philips.

The article also highlighted that the amount of products for sale on the marketplace exceeds 100,000, this is excellent as it works in many ways. The more products, the more traffic, the more market research data Kogan can gather and refine their own offerings.

Furthermore, sellers can also use the Kogan payment gateway so transactions will be seamless, there's many positive things happening with this launch, hopefully the wider retail investor market sees the value as I previously bought in based on the brand, inherent value and previous SP.

The timing for this announcement was excellent and I hope to see new retail investors onboard.

With the next reporting period only three months away I imagine we should see more buyers get on board.

The news was also received by Finder.com.au and this will penetrate many consumer markets.
