re: Ann: Kin Mining to Acquire Leonora Gold P... G'day Dan,
I understand your concern with picking up assets via administrators that have passed through the hands of several companies, however it is important to look at what they did and why they stopped.
In the case of Navigator, they were drilling this Leonora project from around 2007 and doing a good job increasing ounces on the bottom line. However in 2009 they acquired the Bronze Wing mine which was a mine that had already been producing and had its own mill. In 2010 they spent a lot of dollars to refurbish the mill and pretty much all their focus went into Bronze Wing rather than their Leonora Gold Project. While the Bronze Wing mine has historically produced more than 10 million Oz Au it has also brought several mining companies undone. I believe it was the undoing of Navigator and with a typical 'big company' mentality, they did not concentrate on their assets that, though smaller had great promise and less capital requirements.
Anyway while the Leonora Gold projects may have been too small for Navigator to focus on, for a company like Kin Mining, these assets may prove very valuable if managed correctly.
