Comprehensive Metallurgical testing will hopefully rule out any issues with recoveries and complication with copper content.
Thundelarra/Menzies were the last to do any test work in 2012. Two samples analysed with recoveries ranging from 96.8% - 97.9% and low to moderate reagent consumption. At the time Menzies & Thundelarra were planning to mix ore from Rothsay with ore from Deflector, which had/has significant copper present. And early 1900's mining was stopped due to copper being present and complicating extraction (technology was a lot simpler back then).
If recoveries on this more comprehensive test work come out around 95%+, it's happy days. The deeper ore at Rothsay seems to be quite different to Deflector with low copper content.
