Now look here. Companies do consolidations because they need to make their register look more respectable to possible investors. KAS has a billion shares on issue. Not the worst I've ever seen but a few too many. A big insto wants to be able to control liquidity and of course the share price a little better than that. This is just KAS doing a tidy up.
If you want to see what can happen to a coys share price when a deal is struck just go and take a look at SEI. Mkt cap a pittance. Signed a deal with a major German end user for Tungsten. Looks like a great deal. Tin is going to be even more sort after on a supply demand basis if you believe the research out of MIT.
