My two cents worth is..
I would be surprised if CMM would be looking at a takeover offer after all the hard work and the amount of skin in the game. I think they will want to keep this their baby at least for now due to further resource potential, which could be huge, a lot more to uncover. All will be revealed soon - Either way,we will be happy IMO.
