Yep, Lepidolite and Spod seem to go hand in hand. Both at AVZ, both at PLS, both at GXY, both at KDR...list goes on.

Not long ago I posted about some steps being made in relation to extraction of lithium from lepidolite. Quick recap:

* LPD making progress in extraction of lithium from lepidolite, have partnered with GXY

*LIT making progress, teamed up with PLS

* Desert Lion Energy have shipped concentrate to lepidolite converter Jiangxi Jinhui Lithium Co

* According to the company overview on Bloomberg, Shandong Ruifu (the company who is closing in on a $1.5 billion plus stake for MINs Wodgina Project) engages in the extraction of lithium from lepidolite:

* According to a release by Orcobre 8 days ago, the Chinese have a domestic lepidolite market:

So IF Kanuka turns out to be a lepidolite deposit, who knows? If we have high grade we may be able to flog it off to someone.. Again, probably being very optimistic here

But am not discounting spod at Kanuka just yet...will wait for the RC and DD. Fence 4 and 5 could be interesting...

And hey, if no spod at Kanuka, at least we know it exists at Kitotolo. Kitotolo drilling should only be a few weeks away
