I think this win of the BESS tender will predominantly direct revenue to EMC to design and build the system with the trailing O&M contract to be also monitored by EMC, I would presume, with any maintenance/repairs performed by on the ground staff from LLC in the area, under direction of EMC specialists perhaps?
EMC may need to look at setting up or outsourcing a Power - Systems Control Centre in Head office at Belmont or elsewhere in a data centre??? to monitor 24x7 their various microgrid systems across WA and therefore Australia wide?
The announcement from CCE says EMC will design it but other statements from Western Power seem to indicate WP have already designed it? Which is correct?
Is EMC just building it and shipping it to site?
Is LLC’s involvement just civil works to prepare the site for the containerised BESS components built by EMC of which there would be approx how many containers I’m not sure?
I think we had 4 containers for SKA so perhaps 10 containers???
Built entirely out of Belmont and trucked to site 6 hours away to Kalbarri. Broome is way to far to consider involvement from that site for this project.
No solar to build here at Kalbarri so civil footprint works would be minimal I’d presume.
