From what I have been reading, electricity supplies to Kalbarri are regularly disrupted, sometimes for several days at a time.

The ability for battery storage and diesel backup to allow the town to operate in islander mode, is something they have been waiting years to happen.

In those days when the town is operating off grid, is probably when CCE will be making the most income. Unless of course they sign up for a PPA that wraps everything into one agreement.
