That's the whole idea of quarterlies: to provide a snapshot at that date.  If there are any items/events since then, they appear under something like "material items subsequent to quarter". In looking for an example, here's CVN's cash balance:

I guess we'll have to be guided by the reconciled cash report that shows A$962, but the $1.15m is nearly 20% out (or would the inverse be 16.3% out?).


You kidding me - I'll stay with rush job and add late and sloppy. The others are example of a "carefully written quality report".
