A unfortunate but nevertheless realistic outcome.
The story gets a bit more complicated geologically now that IOCG alteration has been overprinted by a skarn assemblage but a not a bad outcome all the same.
I have my doubghts whether the assays will yield anything spectacular but nevertheless there is plenty of gold skarns out there so might see something.
