there is a contract to buy it, but REL does not own it until paid for, something unfortunately not understood by the UK bb... i mean its been said every time what stage the sale is at.. so its not a sale until its paid for... and we all know about people not paying up on contracts.

so until REL has purchased it with cash/and or shares, which i believe is being paid at the end of this month, any material activities on dempsey is being reported. the asset is not on the REL balance sheet... dont believe the clown over there...

as for WI, the broader dempsey region, i believe, had a higher WI than the smaller Dempsey target well region itself, i do recall WI being traded a while back..in exchange for the new partner committing to financing some extensive leasing to the broader dempsey region which SGC had inadvertently failed to do throughout.. (imho it was a good reason why the high tcf numbers that many brokers and SGC were touting to investors were technically not in the reach of the the "net acres" leased but potentially only in the broader regions... hence imho no one really was that interested in partnering up and paying for something that one really didnt have in the hand, it would have been easier for potential partners to just lease those regions themselves and own 100%,, so until someone forced the partnership to actually lease the turf, the whole show remained in limbo for a long long time.. imho)
