the company has to abide by continuous disclosure obligations and announce any results that may have a material affect on the share price.
The asx changed the reporting requirements a while back so not sure if they are obliged to release results as soon as they have them but doesn't make sense not to release drill results unless they don't think it will affect the share price. Has to be something pretty special these days to give the share price a boost.
