Joyce wants to move their successful bedshed franchise into NSW.

It might be tough for the first few franchisees to break into a new market - unfamiliar name, no existing word-of-mouth recommendations or repeat customers, etc

So, to ease the path of the first five first-movers, JYC is offering a $275,000 incentive ( of some unspecified kind) spread over the first two years.

This is a clever and original idea of Joyce's (I think that's what the announcement was suggesting.)

Shareholders buying Joyce shares are not only investing in Joyce's businesses and Joyce's real estate assets, but also Joyce management's business savvy.

Perhaps they could set up a management consultancy business as another division!
