I studied geology at Uni but not a professional geologist.  I'll tell you that no amount of knowledge or experience will compensate for being on the ground and conducting field work.  The complexity is going to be arround the structural history and morphology of the shear.  Indeed for Klondike it's more about mine engineering than geology.  Dave R is a successful mine engineer and he's sunk loads of his own money in, so take that for what it's worth.

Biggest issue for me is not the mine risk, it's all those Keras punters potentially offloading their CAI windfall.
