re: Ann: iSOFT $14 million pharmacy contract ... I'm a big believer in IBA but don’t hold at present. I read somewhere that the UK Govt has directed public service departments to identify budget savings, as the UK Govt is expected to go into deficit for the next 2-3-4 yrs. Not sure if the health IT budget is on the radar of department heads, & not sure even if savings were extracted, how it would impact the NHS IT rollout. Usually with these savings directives, they try to focus on back office, non-client facing public servants & services.

Something to ponder… um just like pondering about asteroids hitting earth… it may, or it may not, happen……
