’We’ is none of anyone concern.
It is possible or plausible that the weather could have been responsible had a weather occurrence occurred (however meteorology records show that clearly not so) so wishful thinking not withstanding also along with any of the following such as
lack working of immediate and future work capital,
lack of resources,
lack of all weather ore drying facilty
lack of end resource buyer,
lack of plant &equipment
lack of all weather loading facilities
and let’s not forget up-coming Nat election (though none here can give any plausible grounds how or why an election could do so)
......so yes any one of so many reasons could cause a 20 or 200 or even longer delay.
What we do know is that a supposed weather system (that did not occur) and an up-coming election have delayed RM’s plans !
So we need to let the race run and look back in hindsight, before we know the outcome.
.........in the meantime the market will speak the loudest.
Diverse cultural complexities create corruption opportunities is what I said whether through marriage or family, clan and tribe lines.
And the intermixing of South Pacific Melanesian and Polynesian cultures is a another study. All in itself are far beyond this forum nor the place to do so.
