Ah, but IS IT an "Australian company"? My memory is that it was tranferred to Hong Kong a few years ago and taken out of the Australian jurisdiction. Someone with better record keeping and corporate understanding than I might be able to give us the precise details about this.Also, I discovered quite by chance, and to my surprise, that we are not actually equity shareholders in the company, as most of us probably believe. Again I've forgotten the details, but my understanding is that we've bought shares in some derivative entity which does not give us the security of "title" over a percentage ownership of the company. Again, if someone with a better legal/corporate understanding than I have can enlighten us all on exactly what it is that we do own - if anything, it might be a valuable service to all, as well as a not-necessarily-pleasant eye opener.
