re: Ann: Iron Road Announces Proposed Export ... It looks like IRD have lost faith in the CXM development next door and are going it alone. I find it hard to believe that two identical facilities will be built so near to each other. Maybe it is time for the Gummint to step in with some guidance before a few million dollars are wasted. A new cape size port is highly desirable, not just for iron ore but also to concentrate the grain to one outlet. Flogging off the waterfront land in Port Lincoln would nearly pay for the grain infrastructure.
SA is big on lauding the growth of the mining sector but a bit behind with the infrastructure needed to put product on the water.
