Recently read a ASX announcement where the ASX queried the value of coin / tokens to be received as payment . Can't remember the stock but it was a existing coin with a thinly traded price and they seemed satisfied that management had actually made some effort to justify but were not happy that it was used as a headline number in USD as if it was cash. The concept is not new to ASX regulation but I expect ASX to querie this and expect a updated compliance guideline for all listed companies . Might have been a cannabis company being paid by coin for part of company in partnership?.
