Look, not only financial services stocks....the whole country is being Governed by the media and lawyers having a feast of fame and fortune! Not much objectivity in it all...all trial by media! How many casualties we got now...agl, org, spark, Aurizon, Santos, other gas companies to some extent, apa pipeline, dairy companies been forced to change contracts, Supermarkets under pressure from Government, child care stocks, dreamworld, api and sigma ( ongoing from years back), other health service companies from the Medicare clampdown a few years back, all the aged care operators, health funds like NIB etc; then we have a raft of companies threatened by back pay to employees for skipping on wages ( casual vs permanent...may be justified)....but you get my drift...who would want to invest here ! That’s not mentioning State Governments with fracking bans, uranium bans, clean up charges and big bonds up front for miners etc etc
Don’t know about the facts here, but makes you wonder if APRA is trying to belatedly prove it’s worth !
