I took a small position in this today, but too acknowledge it is 12mths (at the very least) from drilling if everything goes to plan.
If everything goes to plan, then this will be an absolute monster & could see CVN type Mkt caps.
Keen on your comparisons with this to RMP (Red Emperor Resources) which has 20m Mkt cap; 8m cash, permits, drill contract, 35% interest in a 400mmbbl oil prospect on the Alaskan Shelf & is spudding in Feb 2019
I think that the coming weeks for RMP (leading into the drill) may be a mirror replica for what IVZ may do in the weeks leading upto it's drill (At that particular point in time)
I want to make this crystal clear that this is not a cross promo in any way, you guys were comparing large Oil & Gas plays to IVZ.
Looks like it has potential although would need to look at it more and get more detail. I see their partner is OEL of which I used to own a while ago. OEL's latest couple wells (big tex etc) illustrate how hit and miss this can all be. Alaska can also be challenging (although we are comparing to Zimbabwe so its all relative). Not sure if there is extensive existing data on the prospect?
The main parts of IVZ I really like are reiterated in todays investment preso and I couldn't find much about those figures for RMP... Porosity and Permeability figures (from outcrop samples of source rock) are very high for IVZ of which my mate I lean on to help assess this stuff (a Geo at one of the larger ASX listed oil and gas companies) reiterates to me "is everything" when assessing the potential of a target, even above how large a target is.
