I think the community are pushing for SMART drumlines instead. They are not very SMART, just signal when a shark is hooked onto the Drumline so that they can release them quicker than non-SMART drumlines.
It is very common to see sharks in a huge groups, so one drum line every few Kilometres will do jack all in my opinion.
Clever Buoy will pick them all up on the scanner. No brainer.
