i appreciate the heads up on SEA. its one that i have overlooked as a suitor, and apart from AUT and BHP, i think SEA is the most likely suitor.

AUT may want to have a crack, or indeed may have had a crack for all we know, but imho your bringing the SEA situation to light is really appreciated and its been a long time since anything as suitable such as SEA has been discussed on the forum.

if you consider SEA needs to get the capital reinvested ASAP or pay the capital gains, then they would be looking at several prospects and imho TXN's asset would have to be glanced at with some seriousness.

to your knowledge have they rigs that they own or operate that can drill into deep shale?
