Still, I'm doubtful. SEA might become a farm-in with operational control (which SEA states it prefers and TXN would likely welcome). But SEA tends to explore and produce, so it buys undeveloped and unassessed land.
No, I think a production company -- Marathon, Petrohawk (if it had money), Aurora, etc -- are more likely buyers.
But it is good to read the TXN update saying the sale talks are progressing.
